Ready to help every neighbor in District 58 and across the commonwealth
My leadership success and healthcare expertise are rooted in a strong nursing background across various settings, including occupational health, geriatrics, psychiatric, and medical-surgical units, as well as informatics. Currently, I serve the community as a certified school nurse for a large city school district. I hold a doctorate in education from the University of Pittsburgh and a masters degree in nursing from Capella University. I have been honored to be accepted twice into the prestigious Salk Fellowships, with the most recent program focusing on Medicaid. This experience will enhance my knowledge and enable me to effectively communicate the severe impact of Medicaid cuts on participants and those who are privately insured, which is crucial for discussions in the General Assembly regarding healthcare in Pennsylvania.
Integrity and Honesty Matters
I am the candidate who will vote as I promote. Veterans are worth more than monthly coffee and cookies. VA cuts are not acceptable. Seniors deserve more than a pretend expo; they deserve action to protect their healthcare. Donating to school districts to post a sign then voting against public education is no benefit overall. I am UNION STRONG! The actual candidate who will vote for union organization rights and safety.
